   Активизация лексических навыков
   

All children like to play games. Now I want you to divide into two teams. Each team will have the cards with the words. You must put the words in the logical order to make a chain.

   Let's answer my questions.
   

- Do you have a telephone? (Yes, I do.)

- Do you like talking on the phone? Why? (I like talking on the phone because it helps me to relax.)

- Mike, with whom do you usually talk on the phone? (I usually talk with my friends on the phone.)

- What do you talk with your friends about on the phone? (We talk about sports news on the phone.)

- Tanya, do you like talking on the phone? (No, I don't. If I talk on the phone I have no time to do my homework and help my parents.)

- Lisa, do you agree that talking on the phone is a waste of time? (I agree with this statement. Besides, when you talk on the phone you can't see the eyes of the person you are speaking to.)

- Pavel, is it important for you to see the eyes of the person you are speaking to? Can we receive useful information talking on the phone? Etc.

We know how to name the telephone numbers in English. Now we’ll listen to the dialogues, but first of all lets learn the phrase talking on the telephone. Look at the ex 71, p.24

It’s time to work in pairs and make up your own dialogues. You can find the situations for your dialogues in ex 72, p.24.

I’m sure you know advantages and disadvantages of talking on the phone. The word combinations from ex.81, p.25 will help us to prove our opinion.
